The recent release of Windows 11 has brought a lot of improvements to the operating system. It’s therefore a good idea to clear the cache periodically. Over time though this can use up a lot of your storage space and can usually affect the performance of your Windows computer.

Select Develop in the menu bar on the top of the screen and click Empty Caches.Your Microsoft Edge browser will usually store cache data to improve its overall performance.

Cache: In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab and make sure the checkbox next to 'Show Develop menu in menu bar' is selected.

In the menu that appears, click Preferences

Click Safari on the upper left-hand side of your screen.

Click Remove Now in the pop-up window that appears.

In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab.

In the menu that appears, click Preferences.

Cookies: Click Safari on the upper left-hand side of your screen.

You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.

Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data, check Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, and then click Delete.

Under the section named Browsing history, click the Delete.

Click on the Menu button (⚙️ cog wheel icon) at the top right of the screen.

Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data.

Click the menu button (the three vertical lines) and choose Options.

Select the first four options listed above to clear and click on the Clear button.

You will see the following items available:.

Click on the 3-lined Hub button in the top right corner.

Make sure the basic tab is highlighted, and the 3 boxes are checked.

In the Clear browsing data box, change the Time range drop-down to All time.

In the privacy and security area, click on Clear browsing data.

On the left pane, select Privacy and Security.

Click on the 3 vertical dots on your browser toolbar and go to Settings.
